Samir Feriani first prisoner of free speech in Tunisia after the fall of Ben Ali #FreeFeriani

Samir Feriani is a worker in the Interior Ministry, after the fall of Zine El Abidine Ben Ali he wrote an open letter in which he enumerated the names of corrupted highly graded responsibles in the Interior Ministry of Tunisia. Those responsibles, as he sad, have taken actions in the murder of demonstrators in the uprising of December 2010 -January 2011 . He made this letter available to governement people. He was thinking that his testify will be heard and taken into account. Surprisingly, Sunday 29th May 2011 a strange car had pursuit him. They were agent of the Interior Ministry that he knows. They arrest him and take him to the military base of Laouina - suburbs of Tunis. The motif of arrest is the letter which he wrotes. The details of his arrest were revealed to public via the testify of his wife. The lady have organised a demonstration to claim the liberation of her husband. In a recent radio record , his wife said that he is being intimidated to withdraw his revelations. Today, Satursday 27th August 2011 and 7 months after the fall of Ben Ali, he is still under arrest and no verdict has been pronounced yet. This made him the first prisoner of speech after the fall of Ben Ali and in a middle of a revolutionnary process.
